Hello, I was a previous user of Bluestacks but lost my phone recently and I'm trying to play games on BS again. But BS3 will always say 'Could not start the engine'. Of course I did my own research, they say to switch from OpenGL to DirectX, I also turned off my firewall, freed up some RAM but still no joy. Bluestacks not opening on Mac? Every new macOS update comes with a lot of underlying changes and app developers need to update their apps to work with the new operating system. If you see any popup like ‘Could Not Start Engine’. Sometimes a different RAM settings aired with DirectX resolves the issue.
